The Big Event is the EXCEL Foundation's annual fundraiser that funds grants awarded to individual educators and counselors in the Coeur d'Alene School District. For 37 years, the Big Event has enabled the foundation to award nearly 1,600 grants and has raised almost 2.7 million dollars.
